This, the latest incarnation of the Atlantic remains the linchpin of the North Shore range. Continuing its many years in production, the latest updates ensure this kayak is still one of the best all-round sea kayaks available.

People trying one for the first time, almost never want to give it back. With the classic combination of a moderately rockered, soft chined and shallow v’d hull, the Atlantic has captured the hearts of paddlers around the world for over 30 years.

Whether you want to explore calm waters, play in costal swells or ride the surf, the Atlantic is the true Jack of all trades that will make you feel like a ‘Master of the Seas’.

Atlantic II

There is something nice about being able to get out on the water and share something you are passionate about with family or friend, to this end the Atlantis II was born. Short on length for a double, however, big on storage, multiday wilderness experiences are not out of the question.

With a straight keel line and a ‘D’ shaped hull the Atlantic II is fast and stable and with the added bonus of the Valley ‘C’ trim rudder system, this lively double makes coastal exploration fun.

The two cockpits are comfortable and far enough apart to stop any paddle clashes if you get out of sink.

A central bulkhead is fitted between the cockpits to prevent the free flow of water, should either of them get flooded.

The Atlantic II is a versatile double kayak, that allows you to go and enjoy the seas, lakes or rivers of the world with a friend, whatever their level of ability.

North Shore again pushes the boundaries of sea kayak design. The Voyager is an ‘Evolution’ of their previous Ocean and builds on its soft, to hard, into wings just behind the hips, chine design. These unique features create a fast stable hull, with excellent edging. This hull, coupled with a low-profile deck, designed to shed water and offer very low windage, will help keep you in control, even in the worst of sea and weather conditions. Giving experienced paddlers, unrivalled confidence to go and explore the Oceans of the world.

North Shore pushes the boundaries of sea kayak design yet again.

The new medium volume Ocean gives you wings, a unique feature that creates a fast stable hull with excellent edging.

A low profile deck sheds water well and offers very low windage, keeping you in control even in the worst sea and weather conditions giving you unrivalled confidence to go and enjoy the Oceans of the world.

  • Superb to paddle empty on day trips but has the carrying capacity you require for those extended trips we all dream of.

  • Wings, crisp edges that stop just behind the seat and slowly blend into the bow. This improves forward speed, giving good edging without causing drag when turning on the spot

  • Neutrally balanced, (the widest part of the kayak is by your hips) combined with the gently sloping outside walls gives good secondary stability that inspires confidence on those tight turn with the kayak on edge.

  • Extra recessed skeg blade to reduce the risk of jamming (launching backwards stops this happening in kayaks).

  • Contoured bulkheads reduce stress points on the hull

  • Comfortable padded seat with good support backrest and hip pads.

  • Hand grips at the back of the cockpit rim to stabilize you on those awkward entries and exits.

  • Curved bulkhead behind the seat increases dry storage and reduces the wetted area in the cockpit.

  • Easy access deck pod ideal for those on the go, necessities’ like camera, light snacks and sunglasses etc.

  • For advanced paddlers the seat height can be raised to suit individual needs.

  • Security attachment point on rear deck.
